I have never tried aerial before, can I still take classes?
Absolutely! We all start somewhere, and complete beginners will feel comfortable in our “Foundations” class. No strength or flexibility requirements needed. In this class, we will work on Level 1 skills at a slow pace, and stay low to the ground.

Is there a weight limit?
No, our aerial rigging can support thousands of pounds!

I have no upper body strength or flexibility. Can I still try aerial?
Aerial is the best way for you to gain upper body strength and flexibility! You can absolutely learn many things that don't require upper body strength or the ability to climb.
-
Why is aerial so expensive?
High insurance rates & studio rental costs, highly specialized training, and expensive equipment are the main reasons for the higher price of aerial compared to other sports. Most aerial classes in the US will run about $25-$50 per class. Punch passes and unlimited memberships save money.

Can I get silks at home?
Students who practice aerial at home usually spend some portion of class time unlearning bad habits or unsafe techniques. Until you have mastered Levels 1-3, we do NOT recommend practicing aerial without a coach present.
Please read this guide if you are interested in rigging at home.

Can I be a performer?
Anyone can become a performer! We have student showcases that even beginners can participate in. For professional shows and paid gigs, we hire performers based on consistent good habits & body awareness in the air, and excellent form & technique. Our coaches can help you reach this level if you are a dedicated student! Until then, student showcases are a great way to gain performance experience for the future.
